Is there anyone out there with good advice? Im so frustrated! Im trying to find an lpn to rn transition program and it seems like all the ones I have found dont offer again until next fall of 2013. I was hoping to start at least by winter. I dont want to wait to long. Most people I talk to at these campuses are saying there is a 2 yr wait least. Are u serious? How can that be when I just want to transition in. I live 40 min from columbus and about 1 hr from cincinnati. I have checked several schools in my area and feel like im getting no where. Has anyone done online courses and how does that work with clinicals?

If you relocated and were seeking employment in FL as an experienced
RN, I doubt the school you attended would be an issue. Maybe some others have input on this, but unless you were a new graduate, they should still consider you. Getting a nursing license for that state could be an issue if they look at which school you graduated from, however. You'd have to find out. It may come down to is working in a state that recognizes Excelsior, and most do.
