Lpn program compared to rn program

Nursing Students LPN-RN

Hello nurses. I'm currently a new grad lpn of 6 months. Before that a cna of 3 years. I'm starting school in the fall for my pre requisites for the lpn to rn bridge program. I'm just curious to those who have completed this program how it compared to your lpn program. I thought my lpn program was really tough. I struggles to complete assignments in the time frame I was given. Your thoughts will be appreciated.

I agree with the general consensus that it's easier for LPNs than those with no prior nursing education. I didn't do a bridge program but I can tell you that my prior education and experience as LVN made it so much easier for me when I was taking advanced patho, pharm, and subsequent nursing courses.

You'll be familiar with the concepts already, so it'll be like a review with a bit more detail. If you had trouble finishing assignments in time, though, just make sure you have better time management skills.
