Graduating LVN to RN in May? How's it going?

About 8 weeks to go and I am ready for it to be over so I can concentrate on NCLEX!

Here's what I am ready for...

actual days off.

not buying computer ink in the jumbo packs.

throwing my extra scantrons in the fire.

going somewhere without my books (and not feel guilty;).

not doing 12 hr shifts every single weekend at the hospital.

getting financial compensation for the work I already do.

planning a vacation.

my signature with RN behind it.

How about you?

Specializes in floor to ICU.
I hate life. Last semester and I still don't see the end of the tunnel. I made it this far but still I feel I will fail. I'm so tired of school and all the politics and stupid extra work. I wish being a senior was more rewarding. I want to study and prepare for NCLEX but instead they have us doing practiucum the second half of the semester, I'm working full time carrying 15cr and have to have 135 practicum hours in along with projects and papers. I can't even be happy about graduating May 5th, 2008. It all looks so dim and dark to me. Wish me luck because God knows I don't want to redo any classes:no::bowingpur:banghead::(

Oh my, you do have a heavy load. I am sorry and wishing you the courage and strength to pull through these last few difficult weeks!!!

Hang in there...keep dog-paddling (thats how we are making it)

I'm just graduated May 16 unfortunately the road to success hasn't set in yet. I have to take Kaplan as order by my school and you must pass the Kaplan predictors test in order to be allowed to take NCLEX. So after one journey is over another begins.
