Reaching out to students that have a hard time not getting straight A's.
Here's my situation- I am a bridge student (LVN-ADN). Currently doing the role transitions class. This class is suppose to be more of a review of LVN school sprinkled with new information as we move toward the RN role. I graduated my previous program and took NCLEX toward the end of 2011.
With this, I feel that since I am somewhat recent out of school that I should be able to maintain good grades. First exam I received an A, but yesterday midterm I revived a low B:-( All questions were scenario based and I studied like crazy. A "B" would not normally get me down so much, but this early in the game is scary.
Does anyone have any suggestions of study material (beside practice NCLEX that I do daily) that might help me get through these type of questions? I honestly felt like I was taking NCLEX again without the 6 weeks of studying that I did then.
