Hi everyone. I am writing because I am in need of some advice from someone who has been here before. I am in my 8th week of the first 12wks of my lvn program and I am struggling and I mean really struggling with vocational adjustment. This is the hardest subject for me and I do not understand why. This is the only subject of the five that I am taking that is giving me this hard of a time. I can not fail nursing school because of vocational adjustments. This is just not an option. Please any advice will be welcome. I have passed two exams and failed two exams, I have B's on all of my homework for this class. I am so scared. In my program if you fail a course, you are out of the program until that course is offered again and only if they have room for you.

Hi dear. I am sorry I am using ur post to ask a question. I know u are in Fortis College Houston. I am planning on starting my vocation Nursing in this school but I have my fears. I was really happy when I discovered you are a student with them. I have heard a lot of negative remaks and reviews about this school. I am sure you must have heard it too. Do think this school is worth it? How serious are the instructors with lectures and grading? Have heard from any one who graduated from Fortis Houston LVN programe who is now working? And I will appreciate if u can pls giv e other helpful information about the school. I am really counting on you.

Thank you .

It is okay that you used my post, I am glad somebody got some use from it. I am now coming up on my last term in the program and the one thing I can definitely say with hesitation is that this has been a wild ride. Fortis is really no different than any other school; it has it's ups and downs. It really just boils down to what are you going to do with the tools that you are given. The major problem that I have is having a difficult time accessing the computers.
