just got accepted into the LPN program now I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to switch to part time or prn , I'm currently working full time night.

Personally, I couldn't imagine trying to work while in nursing school. I would suggest either doing PRN, or leaving if you can.

I work full time rotating afternoons and mid nights I've accepted that I will have to go part time sooner than later it's doable when you have good support at work that will work with you schedule but it gets old. Work full time now save your money while your load is light and have the financial cushion for when you have to cut down on hours. Keep communication with your employer and prepare yourself for what's ahead of you. Good luck

thank you for the much needed advice CNAAJ and illusion9376 I believe that I am going to switch to prn before the program start as for now I am going to work all the hour I can

I know it's a bit delayed, but I'm glad! Things(For me) have only gotten harder, and I imagine most programs are like that!
