Part time lpn program

I have the option of going full time (11-12 months) vs 20 months for part-time.

I am considering part time for two reasons: the slower pace will allow me to study more to retain the info and not be so stressed as I hear all are so stressed, and also I can work maybe 2-3 more days each week than I could if I went full time. That is no small amount of change! I want to pass both lpn and nclx in one time around!

A third reason: I would like to secure a job in the company where I work, and if I stay "more" part time than the full time program will allow, I feel there could be benefits to that? I think I could work 3-4 days a week and go part time, vs working 1-2 days a week fulltime.

I would like to hear comments from those who have gone the part time route and pros and cons of each choice?

Thanks!!
