NCLEX and breakups dont mix!

Well I took my nclex this morning and needless to say i walked out of there feeling like i guessed on half the question and that i totally bombed it because i only got 85 questions and the darn thing turned off! seriously?! which only added to my "fabulous" week so far.. lets see my boyfriend decided that he needed some space to figure things out and broke up with me two days before my nclex, what he couldnt wait till thurs? men ,jerks all of them, even if he is trying to the right thing. not to mention i almost died driving to and from the test because us californians cant drive when its cloudy out...but now that i logged on to find out if my results were ready it says that my board of nursing doesnt participate in the quick results.. so heres my question..

How long do i have to wait to get the dang results, cuz at this point i rather have the bad news sooner than later! lol i just want to know how long i have before i can take it again and how much more i have to pay.. so the sooner i know how "great" i did the sooner i can get started.

Hi!! I took my test in Feb. And it took me about 2 hrs. It shut off on me at 85 questions also. So really ....you have a better chance that you passed ..than failed. Overall,,,most people have passed with 85. And I know how you feel. After I took the test...I was like...I didnt know if I passed or failed...but I knew it could shut off at 85...and I knew that that meant that I either passed....or I was really stupid! But I had passed!!! So hang in there!!!!

I hear that in California, it takes about a month to get the results, since they don't participate in the quick results system. I think that totally sucks lemons. Good luck, and let that man see you working as a proud nurse and the heck with him.

I took my nclex on May 7th in California. It takes about 3-4 weeks to get your results! 85 is a good number for the exam to stop at I think. Mine stopped at 109 but I know I nailed the last question and I don't have a bad feeling about the exam so hope hope hope...
