Hey ya'll: Starting Monday, we are doing care plans in clinicals. Is there a printable form of the NANDA list somewhere on the web?

The care plans make sense to me, but those NANDA diagnoses are wordy and hard to remember. Any advice?

Thanks!!

This is a pretty good site http://www1.us.elsevierhealth.com/Evolve/Ackley/NDH6e/Constructor/#New

I usually look up the pts. medical DX here and it gives you a list of nanda approved DX and then I take that and look up my intervention and rationals in the nursing dx book by Sparks and Taylor. I chose which ones are most related to my pt. and copy them straight from the book and have always gotten rave reviews from my instructors on how great my careplans are.Anyways Goooood Luck !!!!!!

Hey, that is a great site....thank's for the tip. After I posted I took a look in my "Nurses Fast Facts" and found several pages that will help. I'll get to the bookstore tommorrow for the Sparks and Taylor.

I have no problems with skills, tests don't scare me, but care plans send chills up my spine.:lol2:

Care plans are horrible. I found out that you really don't use them in the real world. It is a great learning tool and really gets you thinking.
