LPN to BSN

Currently I am a student anticipating graduating with LPN this December. I also possess a BS in Business Management. Upon graduation in December I plan to pursue either my RN or BSN. I am posting to find out if earning my BSN would take the same amount of time as earning my RN since I have already earned a BS. Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Earning your 1st nursing title would probably be less since you would be eligible to do lpn ro rn which is usually a year and a half. LPN to BSN seem to be a good option if you looking to earn higher pay / worklng in a hospital. The LPN to BSN would probably be longer but again you have a BS so some prerequisites will fill for some requirements.

You can look into accelerated nursing programs, many schools are now offering them and they range from about 12-18 months long... The focus of the program is usually nursing courses if you already have the pre-requisites. Depending on the school you can complete pre-requisites while also taking nursing courses, and some schools require that you have pre-reqs completed first before you can begin your nursing courses regardless of you having already completed a bachelors degree. So I would suggest first finding schools you would be interested in, and then finding out if its best for you to bridge in through there LPN-RN or if you should apply to their accelerated nursing program.
