Job Prospects After Graduation

Hi - I'm starting an LPN program in July. My orientation is tomorrow. I'm so excited!

However, I'm curious to know if anyone else is concerned about the current job market and the possibility that it will be hard to find a job as a new LPN. I won't lie - it does worry me a little bit. However, all I can do is step out on faith and hope for the best. I still want to be a nurse and now is the time!

Also, what is the best way to land a job after graduation? Do you network while doing clinicals, or just wait until graduation to hit the job market? I'm in a position where I will need to work ASAP after I pass the NCLEX.
