Is it possible to get licensed as a CMA while in LPN school?

Hello everyone! I have a unique situation and I hope you can help. I currently live in Florida and in a nutshell I've done a Medical Assisting, a Nursing Assisting, and a Phlebotomy program in the past. The MA program was back when I was in high school (back in 2003), I got my CNA license in 2010 and I also did a Phlebotomy program in 2004. My question is, if possible, would I be able to get a certification to work as a MA at some point during an LPN program? Especially since both programs are similar. I pretty much remember everything especially the administrative side to the MA program. I even had to do it over while living in VA because it wasn't recognized as a college or tech level program and it wasn't AAMA certified, but due to circumstances I never got to finish the last semester. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I will be attending TECO in August and I'm a single parent so I need to work, even if it is part time. I was already told for my CNA license (which is now expired out here in FL) that I can contest it once the CNA portion is over. Thanks in advance!

Medical Assisting is different from nursing. There is no portion of your LPN training that would allow you to be eligible to register your MA...you can only test for your CNA, which would be the better route to take. 86 the medical assisting. Stick to the NURSING and get your CNA license while in school.
