I took my NET exam on the 29th. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought. The good news is I passed the Math portion. I was not shocked but dumbfounded by the thought of me passing the Math and failing the Reading portion. It was a shocker since I feel more confident in reading comp then math. I absolutely hate math and I passed the math portion with a high score. I'm kind of down that I can't take the test again until after June. Anyone else have problems with the reading portion of the reading comp the 1st time? So what should I do now?

i took the nln back in march. i must admit i thought i had failed the exam. lol. the reading comprehension portion was a joke:clown:. rediculous words and stories! the math portion was easy for me and the science was interesting. alot of electricity questions.

so after i took the test i only had to wait 1 week for the results.

i got a 135 overall composite score and 95 percentile score.:yeah:

all in all,

i think most of us leave after taking the NET feeling like we failed. :chuckle

I finally got the chance to go home and check the mail. I can't find the composite score anywhere?? I know I scored on the 85 percentile and I know how I did on each individual section...but I can't seem to find that one score.

Call me stupid, I just can't figure it out. hah.

Is it the number next to the percentile?

I can't find the composite score anywhere??

Try taking "Overall Composite Math" + "Composite Reading" and divide by 2 to give you a "NET Composite Score."

Ugh I take mine in 35 minutes. Just about the head out the door.. I am actually a nervous wreck and trying every which way to calm myself. I have studied and so far did good on the three practice tests in the back of my book, but I got to say its a huge difference sitting in the class room and your nerves are shot.. So I am a bit worried.

Good luck to everyone taking them and here is to a bunch of passing grades!!!

I haven't really gotten the chance to do that until I finally came home this weekend. I took out the letter and I don't see that line you're talking about. I do have a line that says, "Your Composite Score is a rounded average of the essential math skills and science reading comprehension scores." But below that line, the only information I have is my composite percentage, national average percentage, national high risk percentage, and ERI standard score. I'm not trying to be difficult but I just really feel like I don't have all the information I need.. I was just about to call ERI but I realized it's the weekend.

Come to realize it, all the values on my paper is in form of percentages. The only value I have that is not a percentage is the ERI standard score and that's in the 800s.
