I just started an accelerated practical nursing program at ECPI University. The program is a year long and ill be finished next year. The problem is the work is hard and my classmates are mean.I'm trying to make friends but alot of the girls are just very mean and have attitude problems.I feel like quitting sometimes but I cant. I have 2 children to take care of and the employment opportunities in my town suck.I cant even get a job at mcdonalds.I feel so discouraged right now. I have depression to make things worse.Anyone have any words of encouragement for me? Thank you

Nursing school, especially PN school is very intense; and requires focus and determination.

Your education isn't a popularity contest; focus on the work, ask for help from your teachers, and continue your eye on the prize.

Run your own race, be cordial, sociable, but focus on school.

Best wishes.
