Hi Everybody,

I'm looking for a night time course or weekend course for LPN classes in NJ, I work full time and I'm a single mom. I would love to attend LPN school, Is there any schools that you can get your nursing degree in under a 1 year or 1 year and a half, instead of the 2 year mark.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Most part time programs will take you 1 years. A full time day (8-3 Mon to Fri) program can be done in as little as 10-11 months. Many of the part time programs are in the private for profit schools so you pay a premium to get the schedule you want but because of BoN requirements it will be extremely difficult to complete the required theory & clinical hours part time in less than a year
