Im a cna and an lpn student and im worried about my situation right now. Today i accidentally injured my patient by transfering him from bed to wheelchair. His leg got caught in a wheelchair and got a laceration. i report to the nurse and supervisor immediately.. the worst part is our facility is under the survey. After what happened the incident they sent me home and said i was suspended. " i dont know for how long" and now our DON called me and say the surviour will call me tomorrow. My concern is will my license as cna will revoke and wont br able to continue my nursing career? I just go lt accepted to the program.. Im so afraid.. Please help

We're not perfect. Accidents are called so for a reason. Don't get too jumpy just yet. Nobody is infallible so we can't be expected to be 100% at all times.

No your cna certification will not get revoked because of that nor will it affect your future as being a nurse. The most that COULD happen is you getting written up or fired (if it came down to it not trying to scare you ) but that is about it
