What do LPN's make?

I've heard several different people give me an example of what they make, and it varies greatly. Obviously its going to be higher/lower depending on where you live. Can anyone give me a ballpark of what they make an hour?

Tera, try salary.com, it's a good "Ballpark" indicator.

Here's for Atlanta GA: http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/l...choosesignup=0

And for the erika I did one for Boston MA:http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/l...o=Boston%2C+MA

Of course as you all said, it depends on where. And salary in Boston and Atlanta versus a small town in the sticks will vary considerably.

I work for a doctor ,plastic surgeon.
I make $21.00/hour...plus $100.00/month for driving expenses.
I get paid for 28 hours/week....but... if I work 26 hours, the good doctor still pays me for 28 hours.....of course, if I work 32 hours I get paid for it!

Worked med surg hospital with benefits -15-18 - left after a year
Went agency PRN and also work inpt hospice unite - agency 19-23
Hospice 19+shift diff of 1.00. No benefits either.

Moving to another city - hospital pool 16+ 1-2 shift diff, AND every shift over your 3rd, $120 extra a day and of course over 40 hr, 1-1/2 pay - no benefits

Agency in this new city - 23-25 per hour.

I eat - but not well - and would be ok if credit card debt was not so high -
