Explain this to me????? There was a girl in my class....she took the Nclex-PN and failed it......in april 2008...now she is scheduled to take the RN test???? how is that possible???? There are two other people that were in my class who are going the fast track RN program...that are unable to take the test yet????? So how can you set the appt up if you havent even been in a RN program or have not even finished one yet???

The thing that kills me is she cheated in class...???? then failed the PN...and now she is registered to take the RN????? SCARY!!!!

I think we might be missing part of the story.

It is possible for someone to be eligible to take both exams. I know an Ethiopian immigrant who is living in the U.S. She earned her BSN degree in the Philippines in 2002, but keeps failing the NCLEX-RN. She completed an LVN/LPN program in Los Angeles and failed the NCLEX-PN a few times before passing. She is now preparing to take the NCLEX-RN again.

Therefore, your classmate might have a previous degree. Or, she might be lying.

There is nothing missing. She went thru the Lpn program...Jan07 until Dec07 took the pn nclex and failed it in april....so without taking a bridge to the ADN how can you take the state boards for the RN???? Like I said there are a few in the class that are going the fast track..they wont be done until Nov-dec....so until you are authorized to test....how is it possible???

And she has no other degree???

No one in the U.S. can be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN unless he/she has completed a state-approved nursing program.
