med test for new gpn position

I am starting orientation this week and have to take a med test. i've obviously taken med tests before, but it was in school and not at a hospital so it wasn't as big of a deal as this (to me). I'm nervous... I know my math but I'm not sure what meds they are going to ask about... I'm not sure if it's multiple choice...etc.. I wish I knew what to focus on. All it says is to review: calculations of med dosages, IV drip rates, administration of insulin and insulin drips and the effects and adverse effects of medication.

what worries me is the insulin drip (never learned much about it except that you have to be very careful and regular is the only type that can be given IV), and effects/adverse effects of medication.

any ideas as to what i should direct my focus on?

also, this position is in medsurg but i don't think the med tests are specialized in any way.

The med exams are usually more focused on med calculations and drip factors. Not any different than what you had in school.

Well I take it tomorrow and the nursing educator put me at ease by telling me I can use a calculator and they supply us with med books so that's awesome. What more could I need :)
