Expensive!!

by Roxy625

Hi everybody, I'm considering taking the exam for the Veeb in Nassau County for the LPN program, my question is, does anyone know why is it so expensive for the entrance exam, they're requesting $150.00. its so expensive. what are my chances of getting a passing grade? and can anyone who went there give me some feedback on the program? thank you.

The entrance exam is so expensive, because the school most likely wishes to eliminate people who will waste their time in the long run. Applicants who are not serious about getting into the program, or those test takers who are just passing the breeze will be very unlikely to shell out $150 to take the entrance exam. Only the most focused people will be likely to spend the money to take the test.

I regretfully cannot provide feedback on the program, since I have never even been to New York! However, we have a New York nurses forum where you can ask that same question and perhaps elicit some responses. Click on the blue link below to get to the New York nurses forum, and good luck!

Hey Roxy,

I'm currently a VEEB student and in my opinion I think they do that to weed out the people that aren't that serious about joining the program. It's an intense program designed (IMO) for those determined to become LPNs in 11 months LOL. To be honest there really isn't anytime to fool around with people who are not sure. Its a VERY fast-paced curriculum, you have to be extremely committed to succeeding in the program to be successful.

If you do decide to spend the money and get accepted, it will be money well spent. Its a very good program...Tough but doable. They are definitely worth every penny.
GOOD LUCK!
