I am about to send out letters to attorneys in a neighboring state. I would like some suggestions on how to get the idea across in my letter that I can still work from my state for them, be it by snail mail or email. I just can't figure out a good way to word it. I do travel to that state quite often also, so would like to get that in too. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello preoprn

Hi sirI. I am doing great and I have been very busy. I have been doing disability/workers' comp cases. I am finally starting to feel successful. I feel very fortunate to have started my business, however, I always have that fear in the back of my mind that business will stop coming in. Nothing I can do about that I guess!

Hello Preop and Sir1:

I would also be interested in marketing in neighboring states and am facing the same dilemma. Did you find a strategy that worked for you? I would be interested in learning more! My current attorney client mails the medical records to me at my home and then we discuss the case during face-to-face sessions at her office or via telephone. So, I don't think it would be any more difficult working with out-of-state attorneys. Especially since I live in Chicago and am within driving distance of both Indiana as well as Wisconsin and Michigan.

Hello,

I just market to out-of-state like I do in-state (send intro letter/marketing packet). F/u with phone call. Majority of the time, all contact via snail mail, email, fax, phone.

Good luck.
