Anyone Attend St. Ambrose University?

U.S.A. Iowa

Published

Hello,

My daughter is a senior in high school this year and is planning to major in nursing. She has been accepted to the U of I, SIUE, and St. Ambrose. After visiting the nursing department at the U of I she has decided to rule that one out. She is confused about the other two, SIUE and St. Ambrose.

She received a scholarship and has already been accepted into the nursing program at St. Ambrose, but we aren't confident their program has been established long enough or how it compares to other schools.

Does anyone have any advice or information about either one of the two schools above?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cindy

I graduated from there this year. It's a good school. Everyone so far from our class has passed boards. They do have kinks to work out, being new and everything. It is expensive as heck!! Good luck!

I am currently in the BSN program at SAU and it seems to be doing ok. Like stated before, there are kinks to work out, but the nursing staff is SO helpful and really works hard to make sure each student is a success. It is super expensive, but for me moving to attend another university is not a possibility! Best of luck in finding a school!
