Canadian RPN with Pennsylvania Licence seeking working visa

Hello,Thank you for taking the time to read my thread. Any relevant information is appreciated.I am a Canadian registered practical nurse with 4 years psychiatric nursing experience. I currently have an active license with the Ontario College of Nurses and more recently acquired my LPN license with the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing. I am confident that I will be getting a job offer and possible sponsorship (if necessary) soon so I am seeking guidance for the next step(s) I will need to do to obtain a working visa. I am aware that the TN visa is made eligible for RN's and not LPN's. With that I am writing this form to gain some knowledge on what would be available for me. Any similar situations out there?Thank you.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

LPN does not meet the minimum criteria for a work visa in the US. You are already aware that TN visa is file RN only. There are a shortage of LPN jobs not a shortage of practical nurses in much of the US. Even if you found a potential employer you are not qualified for a US work visa. I'm sorry
