HI i need help about my prereqs

Last semester i decided to go for xray tech so i did my Math for Allied Health and Com 101( or eng 101) in MVCC. Now i decided to change ang go for RN. Currentlly im register for spring semester Medical Terminology and Computer in Allied Health. From what i see i don't need those two in order to get to nursing program? Next question is i'm thinking to getting in to nursing in JJC because i live in Plainfield ( im going to MVCC because my MIL lives there so i guess im in district) and i won't have to worry that they will find out some how about me not being in the district. So what prereqs should i take now i know the Bio 250 is full already. What about Psych( MVCC requires for nursing only one Psych and i see JJC two) i think this semester i will stay at MVCC and then transfer to JJC)

Probobly i didn't write this to clearly but please help i need to make my decision this weekend cuz have to register

Is your driver's license or id under your mil's address? MVCC requires you to provide at least 2 forms of residency. ID and tax return/w2/auto insurance, etc. They haven't accepted an out of district student in over 10 years.

yes my drivers license is under her address and i'm affraid thats not enough. What if people live with their parents offcourse the moragage won't be on their name. Do they really check that?

You can just get your voter's registration to be with that address on it.. they have a list of what would qualify somewhere on their website.. hope that helps hon!

How do you claim residency in two districts? Would it be ok for me to claim residency in the JJC district because I have a sibling who resides in that district and I spend a great percentage of my time out there?

I don't quite understand how this is kosher.

I don't. You have to live there not your siblings or parents. I changed my ID but i guess thats not enough to get to the program

So did you live with your MIL in the MVCC district and recently move to the JJC district?

i think she's been cheating on the residency requirement for some time now.

Isn't Harper in the Plainfield district? They have a nursing program!

^ Harper is not in the Plainfield district, Harper is Schaumburg area.

For the nursing program at Moraine, they do check very carefully, they give you a list of acceptable id's - one being a car insurance bill, tax bill, w-2's, etc. If you attend their nursing info session, they'll give you the list of acceptable proof of residency documents.

I can only answer for Moraine because that's all I'm familiar with, but the classes you mention are not required. The classes you'd need are Sociology, Psychology, Microbiology, and A&P I and II.

Have you checked out JJCs nursing program? They probably have a nursing info session like Moraine, so you could find out exactly what they require.

G/L =)

Sorry..it's Palatine..i was thinking Plainfield.. cuz of the "P" lol
