Need to Interview FILIPINO nurses in Chicago

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Hello everyone! I am a doctoral student in the History program at Northwestern. I am conducting research on the history of Filipino nurses in Chicago. I am looking to interview several nurses in Chicago who moved from the Philippines from the 1960s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 00s. I wanted to focus on their experiences as a Filipino in the profession, and how one socializes inside and outside of work. Interviews should not be more than an hour or two. This is a potential historical journal article, and I am hoping to complete research/interviewing within the next three weeks/month. Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you are interested of know of anyone who might be! Thank you in advance! Salamat! :)

You can check with Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology. The majority of the nursing student population and some instructors are Filipinos. I know you asked for those who are "nurses" and not "nursing students" however that's a start.
