by ArtisticNurse Oct 30, '12Hello everyone!
I took the test last Friday, October 26! Did the Pearson Vue Trick with the good pop-up the following morning. I also did the Quick Results this morning and got the great news!
I'm trying to figure out what's next. My mind is so everywhere. Haha!
Can I now apply for jobs and just indicate pending paper license? Is the registration number also the license number?
I am sooo excited!
Print and share with friends and family.
Compliments of allnurses.com.

- Oct 30, '12 by JazzyOneRNContinental Testing will send you a letter with your picture stating that you have passed the NCLEX. Along with that you will receive an application to apply to receive your license, the bottom portion you send to the state along with $50.00. I sat for the NCLEX Oct 15 got the letter/license app Oct 22. I sent it off that same day via next day mail, someone signed for it on Oct 23 and now Im just waiting for my name to appear idfpr license verification site. Tomorrow will be a week Im praying its posted by the end of this week.ArtisticNurse likes this.

Definitely start applying now. Takes awhile to apply & catch the eye of a recruiter & get an interview. Then there's the background check & employee health clearance. Just make it clear that you have passed, and awaiting the final issuance.ArtisticNurse likes this. - Nov 2, '12 by ArtisticNurseQuote from JazzyOneRNI just received mine today! Thank you! - Nov 2, '12 by JazzyOneRNI believe they do accept personal checks, I paid by money order just in case they hold up processing my application until the check clears. I believe on the application they tell you in what form you can pay the $50.00. BTW My name has posted on the website it took exactly one week for it to show on the license verification website, now Im waiting for the paper license...
- Jan 10 by klraptisI am slightly confused about the picture. I know in other state before you sit you are supposed to submit a picture to the BON. Where does Continental Testing get your picture? Am I supposed to submit one to them before I sit for my exam or bring one with me?
Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. - Jan 12 by ArtisticNurseQuote from klraptisWhich picture requirement are you talking about? I remember having my picture taken on Pearson Vue's testing center itself before I get admitted into the room.
