CMK Healthcare LPN Program

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

My friend is looking at attending an LPN school soon and she found out about CMK's LPN program. The cost of tuition is around $15,000 and the program is for 10 months.

CMK also has an agreement with Saint Xavier University to accept CMK's classes for their LPN-BSN program.

Does anyone have any more info on this school?

Edit: Can a staff member please move the thread to the IL program discussion forum? Thank you.

By now 26 of us passed from 3rd batch which would be almost 90% from the first attempt

Hopefully overall score will be much better than the year before...

You may be able to qualify for a WIA grant which pays for 2 years of training at a local school.

There are offices for all counties in Chicago.

Can you tell me if your outcome was positive as far as CMK's program goes? Everywhere I look I see job ads but only seeking graduates of "accredited" schools. This really worries me as I am about to start the program. I cannot afford to waste anymore money or time. Thank you.

I have never had an issue getting a job as a CMK grad. Employers will be asking for your license and that is all that matters.

CMK was accredited by the state of IL, hence we were eligible for licensing. NLN & CCNE - that is more applicable for RN programs.

Btw, what program are you about to start?

This is regarding the LPN program, they are currently constructing an RN program.

Onyx0911 are you in an LPN program now? I'm doing some research and hope to enroll in one sooooon. I've been looking at Northbrook Collge of Healthcare, seems pretty decent and the tuition is lower than a lot of other places I've seen. But they are all the way up in wheeling. I live in the city and that would be quite a hike!
