Ok on nov 3rd I took my entrance test(teas) into CASPN in springfield il. I passed the reading really good but i failed everything else. My worst subject is science. Im asking for advise so I can pass it the next time. I got a book off of cliffnotes and a book off of ATI but all the material is just very overwhelming. What should I study for the science? Is there alot of A&P on there. please help thanks

Sorry I got this late hun but yes me and Mwoods are both planning on attending the class in Feb!! How about you? when did you take your TEAS?

yes. Im trying to get in feb, i know mostly everything about the program just trying to figure out the moving there from chi area, and passing teas this week! Do you have any questions?

Is anyone moving to springfield to start the PN program in feb at caspn?

Hey Greta when are you taking the test and have you got everything else done? Is this your first attempt for testing?

I am commuting from champaign,il!! I been thinking about moving there?! But idk

the ati teas manual was not very helpful with the science portion but the most imp. thing you have to know is the cardiovascular/circulatory system! know the parts of the heart ventricles, how the respiratory system comes into play and the digestive system. watch some videos on youtube about the cardiovascular system then just read some more onthe web and it will sink into your head, also same w the digestive system. Know to identify the parts of a cell. Know the dif between respiraation and photosintheseis. I took the test and these were like the main things they were asking. oh also the protons, neutrons blaaa. I failed the math part .... im trying to study for it now I hate math :/

Good Luck!!!

I have mostly everything just have to send it in, and no i took the teas once and failed the math part...DO you know by any chance whats the minim score for each section? math? English? science? etc? every time i call in they tell me different numbers...

What about you? Did you take it yet? Are you starting in Feb? How many seats are there open , do you know?

I found an apartment which is very close to the school and the price is reasonable compared to the prices here in chicago land area. I might also be interested to share the apt.. or i was reading here on all nurses the other day and saw something about the Lincoln college accepts students that go to CASPN? does anyone know some detailed info about that?
