Any Triton college students?

I am starting my second semester of nursing school at Triton, and was just wondering if there are any current, past, or "in-the-process" students who wanted to share thoughts or questions on the program. Lemme know!

Technically, yes, there is a waiting list. IF they are offering a program for the spring (starting in January) those slots having most likely been filled. They are looking for people who have met the prerequisite requirements to begin the program. That information can be found on the Triton website.

Hello. I am new here and I currently attend triton college pursuing an ADN. The Spring 09 semester will be my second semester working on my pre req's in order to apply for the program in Fall of 2009. I am 23 years old and because i have been out of high school so long, i have to re-take biology, chemistry, english and math.

I hope to be accepted to the 2010 nursing program. Does that seem like a realistic goal considering they may have a waiting list?? Also, is there any advice you can give me as far as what classes to take before I start the program if accepted?

Any other advice pertaining to triton's nursing program in general would be a great help!!

Hey tinamariezzz,

I do think that acceptance into the 2010 program is realistic- as long as your grades in your pre-req's are good. In terms of classes to take before the program... I can't really remember them all, but think about psych 228?, speech 101, microbiology, a humanities class, sociology... that's all I can think of. Let me know if you have other questions!

am thinking about applying to Triton nursing program for Fall of 2012. I understand that it is very competitive and for the students who got in I was wondering how did you get in. What classes where complated before you applied? What was your GPA and Teas scores? I understand that the applicant poll changes from year to year but I am just trying to get idea of what is needed to get in.
