Our company policy requires that we keep our bag clean at all times, keep it off the floor, keep it in a clean area of our car, and do not return stethoscope, BP cuff, oximeter etc. to the bag until after the tool has been cleaned (after each patient use). We are supposed to use a barrier such as a plastic bag between our bag and any potentially dirty surface (such as if I HAVE to put the bag on the floor).

I am searching for better ways of doing these things, and am open to any suggestions. How do you handle these things in your practice?
