Preferred Home Health Care Agency?!

hello all!! the other day i called in to this home care agency to inquire about them accepting new graduates and i received an interview on the spot. I searched them on some of the different home health threads and didnt find anything recent. Does anyone work for this agency? how was the interview process? and home much is the starting pay for a RN with her BSN...btw this particular office is located in Hackensack NJ.

I currently work for them and let me say, the first chance I have to get out I'm taking it. It's not a nursing service. It's a babysitting service. One of the nurses told me that she even goes as far as to iron clothes for thr client that she has. They also pressure you into shifts you can't necessarily do or you don't feel comfortable with.

Hey I'm looking into Preferred HomeCare. I'm a fairly new graduate currently working with a Homecare agency. Do they offer private duty cases or several visits like VNS?? I want to learn how to work with vent pts. But I am hesitant b/c I know I need adequate training.

Any my updates from those working at Perferred?

They offer you training on the vents...and you have to pass a written exam and do a return demo... if you dont feel comfy you can repeat the class as many times as you like...but if you feel you're not ready then be open and honest with them...they're awesome and there's a lot of clinical support...well at least at the Hackensack office. ive been there since the end of august and i love it.

Has anyone worked for Norcal Home health Care in Northern California? I have been looking for reviews online and nothing showed up. i was offered a job but I like to know if anyone has worked for them
