I have a friend who is a LVN in Texas. The RN called her stating her pt states she is talking about him with other people in his apartment complex. She states she only ask where he is and that is all. This pt has been known to drink at times. Also this pt was being discharged due to not having anything to recert him on. She states she has tried for over two weeks to see him and the RN was aware and also had a hard time getting him to the visit today. This pt states he is going to sue.

Pt states she has been talking about him to others in the apt complex. Nurse states she has not but only to find out if he is home or not. Her pt is upset due to her not coming to see him. He has never called the office to find it where the nurse is even though she calls the night before to inform him of the visit. Pt has been know to per take of alcohol at time. He is threatening to sue for hippa and for being discharged from home health. He has no reason to recert at this time.
