Burnout!

by lcc1080

Anyone else feeling a bit burned out lately in home health? Would like feedback if this is the norm for some HH RN's. Our territories have recently been changed to include some days with over 2 hours of travel time, this all while doing the expected 6-7 revisits per day, or 3 admissions per day. Is this a bit much or not?? Our agency recently went to laptop, and many are having to share/transfer information online, either before work in early AM, or late evening, after completing notes on laptop (Our agency does not provide wifi cards). In addition to the far distances between many visits, our mileage to and from, first and last visit is not paid, and can be 30-45 mins away. All of us are beginning to feel overworked/exhausted. Opinons? Thanks.
