St. Paul's School of Nursing - Spring 2015

Nursing Students HESI

Published

Hey everyone, I'm new to the site.

I've recently taken the HESI at SPSON, I got an overall 91%. I'm planning to go to the evening classes if I get accepted. The next step is the interview with the President of the school? Anyone else applying to SPSON?

I'm waiting to hear back of Im accepted! I'd love to hear if anyone of you got accepted! Also, how are they planning on letting us know? By letter or via phone call?

hi everyone- i think letters are sent out this week

Hello! I"m just curious to know what questions they asked on the interview??! Were you nervous?

Hello everybody I applied to spson I'm so nervous I took my hesi I had an interview with the president and my portfolio is complete I was told that we should hear something back in two weeks. Today I received an email about taking the CPR class at the school next week has anyone else received this email? If so does this mean we are in? Lol I'm so nervous and anxious the anticipation is driving me crazy.

I got that email also to take the bls and CPR course. Also wondering if that means we are in. Will you be taking day or evening classes?

I wish I knew all the answers! I keep getting emails about the CPR class as well. And the financial aid. I've never heard of a school that has you do all of this before actually hearing if you're accepted or not. So of course I'm going to wait and see. I called yesterday and they said that they are starting to send out letters this week. So I really hope we hear sooner rather than later. This is so nerve racking. Please let us all know as soon as any of you guys hear anything!

I will be taking day classes what about u?

I too think this weird that we are being asked to sign up for all these different things without formal acceptance

I wouldn't sign up for classes or financial aid until getting acceptance letters..

The email for the BLS course is definitely not an acceptance. It's just a requirement in case we get acceptance. But in reality every nursing program requires it before you start classes so it's not a total waste of time if you're applying to more than one program with a good possibility of getting accepted by one. I took the BLS course and it was pretty interesting.

Has anyone called to find out if letters are going to be sent out this week?

Supposedly the letters are going out this week
