Tripler Army Medical Center RN Pay

U.S.A. Hawaii

Published

Aloha! I am deciding if I want to accept an ICU RN position at Tripler AMC. This is a civilian contract position, not a Federal civilian position.

Have anyone worked as a contract nurse either for Altos or NSR? What is the pay range?? I know they don't pay as much as the local hospitals, which doesn't make sense..

Any information is helpful.

I have arrived to Oahu in the last 12 months. I have been offered a critical care type position with NSR that pays 36.58. I thought I could make more at Pacific Health or another hospital. Any ideas what Pacific Health pays for critical care or Ed per hour?

Not sure, but NSR is one of the lowest on the island.

HPH pays a set wage of $52.71 regardless of years of experience and regardless of department. HPH night differential is $3 and charge differential is $3. Queens pays based on experience and has their pay scale on their website.

Nope

HPH pays based on experience as well. It also varies between HPH hospitals (Straub, Pali Momi, Kapiolani, Wilcox) because each hospital is a separate entity. The payscale on Queens's website is also very old and outdated.

FYI, Queens starts new grads @ $36, 6 month- $40 - 1 yr- $43 & job rate is in the 50s
