Hi All

Anyone know what a typical day is like for a 66H M5 on Active Duty????

Specializes in US Army.

The patient load is the same as any civillian ER.

You will work a rotating shift schedule, 8 hour, 12 hour or a combination. You are responsible for your own physical training (PT) as your work schedule don't allow you to participate in organized PT.

If the ER is short staffed or a civillian nurse or agency nurse calls in sick you will have to stay. Why pay overtime when the military is free labor?

You will have a schedule, but keep in mind it is subject to change at any time.
