is anyone here in the reserves? I'm thinking of joining the USCG reserve. I'm fr. SD, so I'd be stationed at home. I have a yr and more on waiting list for both schools I plan to attend....so this gives me time to get bootcamp over with and be wrking desk wrk on base while I attend school. I just hope the timing is right. I'll be back before my own schedule date for myself to take phlebotomy hits. I just can't be waiting around like this...I'm not getting any younger.

I'm done with all my pre-reqs. Finished CNA. Next spring I plan to take phlebotomy..as I mentioned earlier. But what then? I feel like I'm wasting time. I need to know my next move. With the reserves..I wont feel like I'm wasting any time... they'll allow you to go to school at the same time...you only wrk once a month-"can't do it b/c I have an exam coming up?" they said I could make up the day I missed..for wrk...soo I can still put priority on any schooling.

so anyone here in the military and waiting to get accepted to a nursing school? how is it like? is it possible?

I'm soo confused and sad. I shouldn't be..I'm on vacation right now in NM and will be heading to texas in a few hrs. But instead i keep mopping about my future.

:sniff: am I putting my nursing career dream @ risk?

How long can you have completed classes...till they need to be done over again?
