am joining the navy as a medical corpman am shipping out on sept 04 , after the corpsman programme which is five years, will i qualify to apply to a medical school. i want to be doctor.

*** You want to be a doctor and you haven't even gone to some medical school's web sites and seen what the requirements are to apply? To answerer your question, no you will not be qualified. Being a corpsman likely won't hurt you when you apply for medical school but you need to get a bachelors degree AND fulfil all the the premed requirements. A few schools admit without the BS degree through special programs but usually you will need a bachelors degree with fantastic grades.
