U.S.A. Georgia

Hi, I was hoping to see if there was anyone here who isapplying to UWG for 2013? I have just submitted my application. What do youthink of their new requirements?

@jonesel9 unfortunately they look at it as a C, and I that also happened to me in Chemistry. So I currently have 2 C's in my sciences :( but Ga State is cool, they are just way overkill with how your grades are supposed to be to get in the program. My anatomy Lab TA didn't even get into the program! The average gpa for the people who got in like last fall was a 3.9! Well that's what I was told by one of the people who did get in that was in one of my classes.

@mytwoboysmom wow that's a lot for training.Thank you I will look it up.What is the point of this requirement in order to be able to take nursing courses?.Did you find out what the writting session was all about?

@AshBrock1091 OMG what are shame that they are so hard on grades.,ugh.I can't beleive they look at yours as two C's,smh. I was going to apply to Clayton State as well but I think they do the same. My friend goes there and she said they combined the grades together(as you stated as well). I'm in total lost as to what school I want to apply now, lol. Ga state was my choice but i dont know. It's so expensive and so hard on how your grades are suppose to look. Don't worry you will get into a nursing program just have faith.I'm deciding if I want to just try to get into the nursing program I am at now. I attend GPC and I just have spring and semester of 2013 then I will be finish with my pre-req. I keep hearing it's best to apply at community colleges than go on and take your upper level bachelor's classes. To me that way seems like a hassle. Instead of transferring to a 4year university and jump right into your nursing classes. What other schools are you applying to?Or just West ga? Ga State needs to change their gpa requirement then because it doesn't even say a 3.9 to get in.It's like 2.5 or 2.7.So it was because of your AP lab as to why you did not get in GA state's nurisng program??.I really don't know where I want to apply now.lol.Or which route I want to take.If anyone has any advice that would help.

Sorry double typo.

@jonesel9 I also applied to North Georgia college and state university... You should look into them.

@AshBrock 1091 Okay thank you, I will.Just want to find a school where there not so hard on grades like how you said GSU is.

I applied to West ga. But What is the cheapest and easiest schools to get the CNA class?

I am not sure there is a really cheap CNA class, I paid about 750.00 for my class that includes the state exam. It is close to my house, and has night classes and saturday clinicals. I live in Paulding County, If that is close to where you are let me know I will give you the info.

No, it is not close to me. Because i live in Morrow

Nclarel,

I live in Decatur, and I will be attending Covenant CNA school by Emory hospital downtown. I start January 26th and I will be taking weekend classes. The course is $600 all together but they allow payment plans. Idk if they have closed registration or not, but you should probably call up there and check it out.

Thank you. Do you have their number?

I don't have it saved... But if you google Covenant CNA school it'll be like the first option... All blue background on the homepage.
