Question about Emory's program!

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hello! I'm asking for a relative who lives in ohio

1. She is from a low-income home. What financial aid opportunities are available for out of state students at Emory?

2. How is the program? She's interested in the accelerated program. Are the professors helpful, or are they just there to teach and leave? Is the program organized?

3. What is the acceptance process like?

Thanks, any other information will be very helpful!! :)

How old is she? How much aid she can get depends on that.

Thank you for responding! She's 21 years old. She already has a degree in biology, she's interested in getting a BSN

Second degree students don't get as much aid, but unless she's married, she should qualify as a dependent student and will be eligible for more of the institutional grants and scholarships. If you're an independent student though (according to Emory's standards - not FAFSA), you can only receive a maximum of $6000 per year in grants and need based scholarships.
