Hey! Need your help or advice. I graduated from LPN school back in 2007 and took the test several times but didn't pass. It has been 5 years now since graduation so now I'm ineligible to take the boards again in the state of Georgia and have to start all over again. What should I do? Does anyone know of another state that I can the test in, that doesn't have the time frame to take and pass the test? Should I go back into a LPN program school or just go back to school to get my RN? PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!

Whether you can sit the board in another state would depend on the that states BON requirements - so you need to start contacting them. I would also suggest contacting the BON in Ga. and ask their advice on where to go from here before taking all the classes over.

After contacting the board, you might decide to just go back for your RN. You will have way more opportunities and receive more money per hour. As an LPN, you do ALOT if not all of the work and get paid less.

Why do you think you haven't passed? Maybe we can help you. Still, like "brown eyed girl" suggested, if you can afford it, go back and get your BSN.
