My parents are opening a " llc care home"

Hello all!! My parents moved from NJ to GA in September 2014, they are planning on opening up one of those homes where they receive clients from the state or private pay clients and take care of them in a private residence, I have already brought a very nice 6 bedroom, GA has beautiful houses!!!! Does anyone here have any advice? Pros and cons .... I believe it's 20 mins away from Lithonia ...

Um yes plenty of people do it you just like to get license and etc thru the state and pass their inspection

Your parents are actually going to live with and care for the patients?

Or are they just opening up a private business/group home?

I've never heard of anything like that, what kind of patients will they take care of?

Long story short they just brought a 6 bedroom house , I believe they are allowed up to 3 ppl in the home if they plan to also live there, they will hire a live in and depending on the type of clients they get determines how much the state will pay them monthly, high function vs low function ing .... Private pay clients vs state clients , it's actually a booming business in the south since the large houses are much cheaper down there then where we are from (NJ)
