U.S.A. Georgia

I'm looking for information if anyone knows of internships available for new Legal Nurse Consultants in the Atlanta area. Thanks!

hello, mksmom and welcome to allnurses.com

good to have you with us. i moved your thread to the georgia forum and maybe those in georgia will respond.

i'm not sure what you are requesting. have you received training as an lnc (legal nurse consultant)? if not, a course would give you all you need to know to get started.

that said, have you joined an organization for lncs? the aalnc (www.aalnc.org) is an excellent organization for all lncs whether certified or not.

:nurse: am scheduled to attend the vmi in atlanta october 2006. this is a huge step for me as i don't consider myself a business person, i am a nurse. i have very marketable skills though, but reading these posts makes me think that the attorneys are not interested in hiring consultants, they would rather hire rn's and pay them a lot less. eeeekkk.

also feeling a little ancient. 30 years nursing experience? i'm gonna change my years of experience to "several".
