Just wondering if anyone out there is planning to apply to Kennesaw State for the Fall of 2013. I know the deadline is 3 months away, but I wanted to get a thread started for anyone interested in discussing the process as we go along!

I posted once a few weeks ago but haven't been online here since. Just by chance I logged on tonight and see that some letters have gone out.... now I'm more nervous than ever! I have not received anything. Has anyone else?

Only one poster has gotten an interview and one a "please reapply" letter. Everyone else is still waiting.

Hi all! I've been reading and finally decided to join in the conversation. I wonder what they base the interview/rejections on? I saw on two previous posts a 3.8 GPA/81 TEAS rejection and then more recently 3.6 GPA/72 TEAS interview. Not sure what to expect.

It's really all across the board with interviewees. In my opinion, they are just looking for well rounded candidates. If your GPA isn't high, your TEAS is good. If your TEAS isn't high, make sure you have got a really good GPA. No one has ever shared a definitive "formula" for getting in. I also really recommend to go talk to the advisor if you didn't get in. I really think that it helps to put a face with a name. I know a lot of people get in the second time around.

For the people with interviews.... Search for the thread about interview questions and PRACTICE. It's a behavioral interview. Also, take advantage of career services' mock interview. F told me about that and it helps so you don't feel as nervous the day of the interview. Good luck to everyone waiting on letters!!!

I just checked my Owl Express account and the interview schedule has opened up! I hope that means I got an interview invite. Everyone should check theirs!

I was able to schedule my interview just now so fingers crossed I get my letter today. :)

I got into GBCN/Mercer. Just waiting to see what happens with Kennesaw. KSU is closer to me and, of course, much cheaper, but I've heard really great things about GBCN. Not sure what to do if I get into both. Anyone else already get in anywhere? What will you do if you get into KSU as well?

Mine still says "you were not pre-selected to interview"... Do they open it up for everyone at the same time?

hmmm...I have no idea. It could've been a fluke. I was being impulsive so I might be really embarrassed if I don't get invited. lol I'm curious to see if anyone else has access.

I haven't received a letter of any type. However I am able to register for an interview!
