Georgia Health Science University applicants for Aug12

Hey, I am applying to the Athens campus for the CNL program at GHSU. Has anyone else turned in an application? Has anyone heard anything yet? Does anyone know how many seats are open and filled so far?

Would love to hear from some other applicants!

Also, marie99 it sounds like we have had nearly identical experiences so far...minus you already getting your decision letter. Hm....Did you end up calling OM? I don't want to bug her & I also don't want to overanalyze even more since she won't be able to say anything directly. Geez..

Hey, I got in to the Augusta campus. Does anyone have any housing plans? Also, how do we register for the CPR class?

@sealchip, im in the Augusta CNL program now. Most student live off campus. Some rented a house and others stay in apartments. The area near the school is kind of "rough", so I would stay away from that area. Several students in my class stay in the following apartments: Century Glen, Century Hills, Estates at Perimeter.

There is also housing on campus. It is kind of old....umm, they have dorms and apartments. The apartments are unfurnished, some include utilities and others dont. The dorms come furnished and include cable and internet. Oh, the apartments include cable and internet too.

If I were you, I would come to Augusta to check out some locations. If you need some help let me know. Several students have emailed us about renting houses. Some people in my class said they found their house on craiglist...Best Wishes to ALL of you.

Grace - I actually had a problem with the post office and called the school to tell them about it so admissions agreed to email the decision to me.

Congratulations to everyone!!! I too will be attending at the Augusta campus- although it is my 2nd choice location, I am blessed to been accepted. Its a bitter/sweet feeling to be honest, especially bc Im newlywed and ill be away from my husband :(

I am looking into apartments in the area, any recommendations? if anyone is in need of a roommate pls let me know!
