Hello Everyone,

I am gearing up to apply for Fall 2009 at Georgia Baptist. I wanted to know if anyone else is applying there for Fall 2009 as well, or if there is anyone who has already been accepted and wouldn't mind sharing their credentials (i.e. overall gpa, nursing gpa, science gpa, if all prerequisities were completed, net score etc.) I am just trying to get a feel for the type of applicant they are looking for. Thanks so muc!

Hello everyone, I'm so excited about starting school but I'm a lil nervous because we are the 1st class of the two year program.But I'm sure we all can handle it. Oh,Thanks so much to csweetooth for the ISBN #'s. See everyone Aug.24th.

I'm wondering if anyone who has placed their order for uniforms through the uniform supplier's website has gotten their uniform yet??? I placed my order the night of orientation (July 21st) and I still haven't received my uniform??? Does anyone know whats up?? I don't want to call them and sound impatient if everyone else is also waiting.. 2 weeks you guys.. man oh man am I excited!

I haven't opened any of my books yet.. I'm really tempted to though.. lol

I've got 6 books so far - I'll get the rest from the bookstore once I move up there this weekend. And No, I haven't opened them.. I've been tempted, but I'm saving the excitement until I get through this move! ;)

Since I have yet to attend orientation, I haven't ordered any uniforms yet. Do they give you a specific number of uniforms you have to buy? 2? 5? Did they say we had to wear them to class or just to clinicals? I know some schools down here have you wear scrubs every day to class, but others just to clinicals. Doesn't really matter to me, just curious! :wink2:

Well they tell you that you have to order two tops and two pants.. and then you have to order one coat I think (I have a bad memory..) its not really that expensive.. and as far as wearing them.. we don't have to wear them to lecture classes.. and they didn't really specify if we had to wear them to lab classes ... maybe that's a question you can be sure to ask during orientation .. and let the rest of us know

desikudi313 i got my uniforms last week or so. you can go to the website and track your order.

i asked the teacher and she said that we will have to wear our uniforms during clinicals. other students have told me we wear our lab coats during lab.

OK I just looked at my order form where I had written down the amount of everything the school wanted us to order:

(2) female zip front tunic short sleeve

(1) Lab Coat

(2) Flare Pant w/ drawstring and elastic back-- I think they have the pull on option for the pants but I know you are required to order two

(1) Mock Wrap Top

All of this will make more sense when you have the order form in front of you. :wink2:

i ordered the same thing except i didn't order the extra top, and i went with the pull on option for the pants. those fit me the best. i'm glad i did wait till i went to the school before ordering the uniforms. i think i would have gotten the wrong size.

also when i was ordering the one of the items (i think the lab coat) the school name wasn't added to it, so i had to had it myself.

I'm trying to track my order.. but I can't find my order number... its really weird because I don't even have any kind of confirmation or anything in my email from the company
