Excelsior college

U.S.A. Georgia

Hello I would like to know if any knows if Georgia's Board of Nursing accepts graduates from Excelsior college or its long distance learning program? I know a few years ago it was not accepting new grads right away, you had to work 6 months or 1 year as a RN. Is this still in place or has it changed. Also if I have wrong info please correct me, any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you check on the GA Bon site they answer those questions. I'm just starting the process also to be licensed in Georgia. I also heard that Excelsior will assist you with info on applying

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

This is available on the Georgia Board of Nursing website: http://sos.ga.gov/PLB/acrobat/Forms/38%20Guidelines%20-%20Graduates%20of%20Nontraditional%20Nursing%20Programs.pdf

There is a lot of information about endorsement or licensure by exam: Download Forms

Also, EC has guidelines on its website: Excelsior College | State Board Requirements

Thank you for your reply it's very helpful.
