Hello everyone. I started this thread with the hopes of having a place for those who are planning to apply for Columbus Tech's ADN or LPN programs? Applications are due March 1st for ADN and February 1st for LPN. I wish you all the best of luck..

Well I plan to apply to both ADN and LPN programs and maybe Surgical Tech. I have all my pre-reqs 2 A'S , 2 B'S, 1 C. And yes I am concerned about the C. But I'm still going to apply and hope for the best. I also plan to try and score extremely high on the NLN, so maybe the C won't be too much of a concern. My compass scores are decent, but I may try to get them higher.

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the interviews? I know it is still early but I wasn't sure if anyone had received emails or anything yet.

I haven't heard anything, but I was wondering as well. I hate waiting for anything, so not knowing is killing me :)

I also haven't heard anything. They told me that they will start to call for interview in the middle toward the end of this month. I will let you know as soon as I know something. My friend is also applied for this program, and she made 99 on NLN, 98 on reading and 97 on writing compass test. Her GPA is also 4.0, so she will let me know when they call her too.

I am so tired of waiting already! :p I am trying to resist the urge to call the office to see if they know when letter will go out

I called the Health Sciences office and they said interviews will be sometime in April.

So hopefully we should all be either receiving calls or emails within in the next few weeks about the interviews. I heard that as long as you met the minimum gpa and etc that you were given an interview, but again that could just be another rumor. I will let yall know if I hear anything.. Good luck to us all..

I would think every application would have at least the min gpa and other criteria, but it's possible others still submit packets.

I applied as well. I have a 3.53 gpa on my prereq's, taking A&PII and lab this semester. I scored a 97 and a 91 on the compass' reading and writing sections, respectively. I scored a 149 on the NLN, which was in the 99th percentile. Now, I'm just waiting, anxiously...

Has anyone heard anything? I applied too, I have a 99 and 98 compass scores, 97 nln and had a 4.0 last semester, I am currently taking AP II. The wait is killing me. Good luck to all who applied.

The Columbus Nursing just called me for an interview on this coming Thursday at 9 am.

I am so excited. Actually, she wanted me to interview tomorrow 3 pm, but I have class tomorrow. I think she is calling many people for interview this week because when I ask her can I go other days;she said on thursday morning or afternoon.

My friend just called me, and she also is having an interview on this Thursday at 11 am.
