  1. Did the email xome to your student email? Or to your personal email?
  2. Couldn't have said this any better myself!
  3. I hopefully won't be in debt. The AND program I start in the fall is very inexpensive. Then, they've partnered with a state university for a 1 year associates to bachelors bridge. I should be able to get my bachelors with little to no student debt.
  4. I erased some lol. Try sending it again.
  5. Everything is relative...In my area, there are easily 20 listings daily for Rn's. Hell, the hospitals will damn near hire any new grad as long as you agree to work there for at least a year. I do understand that this may not be the same in every area. My point is, if nursing is truly what you want to be in carrrer-wise, you will do what you have to do...move where you have to move...to be successful at it.
  6. Honesty? Honestly, not a one of us knows how the job market will be. Hell, the average BSN graduate won't even enter the job market for at least four years. Maybe things will have changed by then. I think discouraging someone based on the job market is really in bad taste. Hopefully, the student will be going into said field based on passion and likeability of the job.
  7. My point is that many professions are experiencing this same thing. Should one encourage all of these people not to go into said profession based on this information? That doesn't make much sense to me...
  8. Most professions are "saturated" right now with "poor working conditions". Due to the economy, it is an employer's market. Maybe things will change...maybe they won't. However, this isn't limited to nursing, but nearly every profession that there is in America. As long as umemployment is high, it's going to stay that way. Couple that with many "labor" type jobs being outsourced, and the situation is even worse. Now you have many people that aren't "educated" enough to find gainful employment. So, what do they do??? Many go back to school looking for a second career, whether it be nursing, architecture, teaching, or spinning in circles for a living. I have a buddy that hasn't found a job in teaching in OVER TWO YEARS OF LOOKING!. Get informed...
  9. It has to be American Heart Association.
  10. I may be wrong, though lol. I have a couple of different girls in all of my classes with me. If you are who I think you are though, you guys always sit together lol.
  11. He did. I know who you are, too lol. You're in Micro, Speech, and the Micro lab with me.
  12. Anyone kknow anything about the men's sizing lol?
  13. Thanks for all of the advice. I'm enjoying school and looking forward to the future."Without struggle, there can be no progress"...Fredrick Douglas
