CHOA new grad residency

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

hey guys! I wanted to start this thread to keep up with CHOAs hiring process for their residency program starting in March. I know we just applied October 1st, but I am already anxious! Looking forward to hearing from everyone and staying connected! Wishing everyone luck!!:)

I applied to this residency too, but I didn't realize that it started in March. I couldn't find the start date. I'm very interested in this hospital and have been applying since July with no response. I graduated in late July so I'm not sure if I can "afford" to be unemployed until March...

Babynurse14 have you heard anything yet?? And I totally understand not being able to wait until march! Have you been looking other places?!

Has anybody heard anything?

I applied too and haven't heard anything yet. Also didn't think it started in march.

No, I haven't heard anything yet. I decided to take another residency position at a hospital. I couldn't continue to wait because I know with me being out of state it would be 10x harder. I think they won't interview people until after the holidays now because of the skeleton crews they will have and it would be more challenging to train a new graduate.

Just curious where did you accept a position?

I sent you a private message

I had a digital interview last week and I have friends who are now in the face to face interview stage, so they are interviewing!

What units did you apply for

I had a digital interview last week and I have friends who are now in the face to face interview stage, so they are interviewing!

Did you graduate from a Georgia College of Nursing?

ER, Cardiac step down, and med surg! You?

I know that cardiac step down has at least done one face to face, picu has also done a face to face! But both of those are internal applicants! I'm not so now it's just a waiting game!
